Unifying Diverse Services into a Cohesive, Engaging Website

Medina Entertainment

Medina Entertainment is a versatile entertainment destination, offering a wide range of options for a night out or special events. Their expansive venue includes event spaces, concert stages, a restaurant, bar, bowling alleys, and an on-site hotel. They provide three private event spaces for various occasions, including weddings and reunions, along with off-site catering services.

The Challenge

This project was a large undertaking due to the client’s wide range of services offered. We proposed unifying the disparate aesthetics of each service into a fun, engaging and one-of-a-kind overall design system. The goal was to create a “sibling” type design for each branch of the company that all lived under the one roof of the new website.

Client Priorities

  • Highlight their unique “we have it all under one roof” offering
  • Give equal credence to all five distinct departments: the bowling alley, Robert’s bar and restaurant, the event spaces, catering and the Medina Inn. Also, both unify and distinguish each aesthetically on the new site
  • Increase their visibility online; increase their revenue and attendance

The Plan

We planned to create a fresh overall design aesthetic and carry it through all the services offered. We rearranged and tidied up the navigational hierarchy to allow users easier, more intuitive access to what they were looking for.

The Results

The redesigned website unified Medina Entertainment’s diverse services with a cohesive design, improving user experience and making it easy for users to find what they need. The updated website was designed to improve the likelihood of more bookings and increase revenue by simplifying the reservation process.

Enhanced brand presence

Improved SEO for branded terms

Expanded content for user experience and SEO value

Once live, the new Bennett Material Handling website featured an improved brand presence, better SEO, direct calls to action (CTA) and a modern design. The site’s homepage highlighted Bennett’s forklift companies and their offered services, accompanied by CTAs to get users to take action.

The service pages were expanded with SEO-driven content. We focused on increasing rankings for key terms that Benett’s audience would be likely to search for on Google and other search engines.

Overall, the site was created to focus on the products and services that were central to the brand while boasting a faster site speed and presenting a unified design.
